Celebrate the achievement of the Opera 100 Million Users


Opera browser is now used by more than 100 million people worldwide. After reaching a milestone in the month of March 2010, there are 50 million lovers of Opera on Windows computers, Mac, and Linux, as well as 50 million people used Opera Mini in a variety of handsets.

Growth year after year the Opera browser on the desktop now exceeds 30 percent, as measured from March 2009 to March 2010. Number of desktop users accounted for during March 2010, the result is approximately 50 million unique active users unprecedented.

"Note the growth of the Opera to demonstrate that we are on the right track, and in line with user needs grew, we grew up together in well with them," said Lars Boilesen, CEO of Opera Software, in a press release.

He said the focus of the Opera on the speed, security, innovation, and usability continue to fruition. "We always listen to the needs and desires of our users, and they responded to us by selecting the Opera," said Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of Opera Software.

In addition to desktops and mobile phones, Opera is also used as a web browser on a console game, connected TVs and set-top boxes.
